How to use the directory
Find the service you use, then choose the link you need.
Find a service
Open the directory and enter a name, such as Google, or a domain, such as google.com. You can also choose a category from the dropdown to narrow your search.
Choose a result
Select Search. Each result shows the service name, domain, category and link type. If there are more results, use the link to the next page.
Go to the service
Choose the service name from the list. Its password settings, account recovery page or instructions will open in a new tab. Complete the remaining steps on that service’s website. The directory stays open in the original tab.
You can also create your own list. Select Favourite next to the services you need, then bookmark the list’s link or send it to another device. Favourites
Where do the links take you?
- Password settings
- Account settings where you can change your password. You will usually need to sign in first.
- Read instructions
- An official help article about changing a password or recovering an account. This is also useful when the settings are only available in an app.
- Recover access
- A password reset or account recovery page. Use it if you have forgotten your password or cannot sign in.
Changing a password or recovering an account?
If you know your current password, look for account settings. If you have forgotten it, use account recovery. If you sign in through Google, Apple, Facebook or another service, you may need to change your password in that service’s settings. Passwords does not change passwords for you and never asks for them.
